I need some ideas to help me make more progress on tuning my SA table. I understand the basics of SA and what it's doing, but from everything I've read, I still don't quite understand how to perfect it.

I'm hoping I can get some $6E specific advice on how you guys tune your spark tables. Is there a general idea of what a spark table should look like, as in curve shape? Mine sees like a bit of a mess due to my lack of experience and I'm ready to just start over.

If you had a new motor, where would you start?

Thanks

Another question I have is: Should you be fully advanced at cruising speed? For me that would be at 2000rpm.

Download the ARAP bin. It has an agressive advance curve. Not as smoothe as you might expect. Also look at the max spark advance constant. I use that and the PE mode spark advance table for my chip. May not be the best but its a starting point.
