DFCO in EBL

DFCO in EBL
I just turned it on. Not yet driven
Does this seem reasonable?
My .bin has values as :
DFCO RPM upper 2400 lower 2200
MPH 50 40 (set so as to not stall)
MAP 40 25
Fuel pulse upon Exit 3.9 msec 80 lbs inj at 23 lbs
I read this may not be for modded engines like mine? Comment please.
all else is stock EBL.bin on DFCO
Prior I disabled by placing coolant temp high. On deacceleration I am seeing 13.2/1 on WB so I think I am wasting fuel. It is now enabled

Re: DFCO in EBL
May want to lower the fuel pulse on exit:
Fuel pulse upon Exit 3.9 msec 80 lbs inj at 23 lbs
Note that the fuel is only added when DFCO exits with anti-stall.
HiWay mode has a table of engine MAP versus commanded AFR. Tables section of TP.
RBob.

Re: DFCO in EBL
I disabled DFCO on the stick shift car. Way to abrupt when the fuel came back on
Maybe because in part I changed these-- DFCO RPM upper 2400 lower 2200--MPH 50 40 (set so as to not stall)--to RPM upper 2200 lower 2000 and MPH to 45-35 as well as MAP changed. Now they are same as stock 305 bin.
I did not see DFCO until I lowered them, I think cause I cruise at 1900-2000 RPM 70 MPH.. Not sure on MAP(maybe 40 map). then it was readily apparent on WB...
Does this mean FCO occurs only > 45 mph and F returns at < 36 MPH ? Same for RPM over 2200 FCO occurs and F is on under 2000? seems the RPM needs to be reduced further due to my cruise RPM? correct?

Re: DFCO in EBL
I never liked the way many xdfs are labeled for DFCO.. upper lower? is it a narrow range?
Its rpm or mph to enter or exit DFCO. You got the function right.. If > 45 enter DFCO < 36 exit. That's the tricky part all 3 conditions (rpm, mph, map) have to be met before DFCO is active.
Try a lower setting since you said you cruise around 2000 rpm at 70mph, you have it ready by 45 mph but your rpm setting is to high to make it active.. Whats your rpm around 50? Try 1600 upper and 1400 lower. I don't think it should stall.

Re: DFCO in EBL
I have not witnessed stall.
Due to my cam I cannot run 5th gear under 53 mph. So I run 4th at say 40-50 MPH and do so often in my area of residence(40 mph limit) . so yes I will drop the RPM window to 2000-1800 and try that for starter. I mis typed above. I did not change map and 40-25 seems a decent window.
thanks.
