New Guy / Questions
First off, Hi my name is collin, i am new to owning a domestic / Muscle car, i'm used to rice grinders, i've owned hondas all of my life, so i am putting my big boy pants on from what a friend tells me.
Now Questions
i've done some bits and pieces on researching about the 88 Camaro i have, everything is factory with it, i do plan to pull out the motor and begin a bottem end rebuild, i plan to do a single large turbocharger, and i want to keep my TPI, i've got all the tuning accessory for it Moats, Burn2, AEM wide band, all the gauges n ect.
I am curious what is the best thing for tuning software for my car, i don't care if it cost money, i'm looking for something that is good and can send me on the right path.

Welcome to Thirdgen.
there are other software packages out there, but for tuning the factory ECM i feel TunerPro is the way to go.
currently there are 2 different versions of TunerPro, version 4 and version 5.
both are available to use free of charge with all features operational for an unlimited amount of time, although there is a 10 second nag screen each time you first start them up.
with a small 1 time donation, you get a key to turn off the nag screen.
Mark has done an incredible job at writting the TunerPro programs, so you'll find everone who uses them encourage making the donation to him.
this is just a small taste of what both packages offer.
both allow for watching and recording the data, editing the bin, and burning a chip with the burn2.
both V4 and V5 along with either the Ostrich or AutoProm, you can do real time editing and tuning.
V4 is the older software and works great and many still continue to use it.
with V5, you can configure the dash with as many, or as few gages as you want.
V5 is a little more complicated than V4.
with the right patch, you should be able to input your wideband O2 into the data stream with either V4 or V5.

Re: New Guy / Questions
Read the stickies above and also "free tune" in TBI section.
Go to dynamicefi.com and read intro to tuning 1 + 2. 1 is tunerpro and 2 are tuning parameters that you may need to tweek. Some of the tables may be somewhat diffferent vs your def file most will be same.
