EBL and Modified tpi 350

I have been lurking around this site for years I have gotten a wealth of info on this site. I have come to the point with our 89 bird (father/son project) that I am posting for my first time. I need some help!

We have spent weeks trying to get a base tune and consistent run out of our engine. I am starting to question everything and going crazy. We are in Geneva IL, hour outside of Chicago and hoping someone near by could lend us a hand. Someone with experience with the ebl flash system and modified 89 firebird tpi setup, any help would be appreciated.

EBL FLash

Dart Pro One 180cc heads
Edlebrock high flow base manifold
SLP Siamese tube runners
Holley 58mm throttle body
Cold air intake
MAP sensor

Flat top pistons, fresh bottom end, about 10.5:1 compression
24lb injectors
crane cam #109831. 509/538 lift, 112 duration, 2000-6200 rpm band
1.6 rr full roller motor
holley distributor
Accel/jacob Ultra Coil

No name exhaust headers
custom y-pipe
magna flow cat back system (NO CAT)

This thing will run (not very well) then not start at all. changed oil three times due to fuel washing down cylinders. We have been tring to get it to Idle to set a base tune but keep running into it not wanting to start again. Cam is a little large for the 355ci motor like I said i am questioning everything at this point.

Re: EBL and Modified tpi 350

If this is the EBL Flash ECM does it have the Port Mod? Has the "BPC - BPC vs VAC" table been set up?

Are there any error codes? Can use the WUD Diagnostic display to see the raw sensor values. Make sure that they are OK.

That cam isn't too much, builds good mid-range. Will need to reduce the VE tables below 2400 RPM or so. This may be why it is so rich. Look at the EBL_F_3001 BIN as a comparison.

The spark plugs may be fouling which is causing the no-start issue.

Also, be sure to check the spark advance once the EST/BYPASS is reconnected. The damper timing mark should move to the passenger side of the car. If it moves toward the drivers side (retarding), reverse the two wires between the pick up coil and the ICM.
