XDFs and hack for 00/01 LS1 PCMs
I've had this for a while, and I've gotten some requests to post it, so here are the XDFs and the hack. The XDFs have the PW removed, so they can be edited. Keep in mind these do not cover the unified '02 OS, which is different from the '00/'01 OS.

Heres the hack. Its a partial as I used it to map out the tables. Note, its compressed using 7-zip to get it small enough to post.. You will need to strip it of its .zip and uncompress using 7-zip.

Thanks dimented24x7!
That will open a new door for tuning the 0411.
Someone sent me a message that DelcoHacking had a flash program for 0411 with AVT-852 cable, wondering if you worked on that? Haven't looked yet at what OS.

Re: XDFs and hack for 00/01 LS1 PCMs
The one I had in mind would work for any PCM. You just supply the address of the sector you want to write and its size, and it does the rest. It would also block OS writes unless specifically instructed to reflash the OS (applying a patch). Any program that does the whole flash all the time like some do, is risking bricking the PCM. If you only stay in the PCMs calibration sector, and you uncheck the "halt on bad checksum flag", the PCM is virtually brick proof, and can recover from a bad flash. If the person is willing to share the source and it does not yet have the above features, Id be happy to help rework it a bit.

IIRC antus has one unrelesed because it's an AVT-852 cable but was looking for others to work with. Reason he does not want to move forward is the supply of AVT cables. and others are close on ELM.
If it is supply of cables I'll try and set up an account so we can have some...
Would the 842 work? It has wideband connections:
" ADC Connection
The four position screw terminal block is used to access the three Analog to Digital Converter (ADC)
channels.
Terminal #1: ADC channel #1.
Terminal #2: ADC channel #2.
Terminal #3: ADC channel #3.
Terminal #4: ground.
The input voltage range for all three channels is: 0 to +5 volts."

All of the AVT cables should work as long as they support the VPW protocall and are USB/vcom port compatible. They are a stright through interface, so using them is pretty straight forward as you've seen. AFAIK, the ones with the A/D are the same as the standard ones, but sans hardware. My board has all the pads for the terminals and A/D chips, but theyre empty.
As for supply, this will be a low volume demand, anyway, so maybe at most a few dozen units a year for AVT to assemble initially, and we could probably do a Group Purchase. If people want them, he does sell in single lot quantities if you request a quote. All I had to do was ask, and he sent me one. Seems like a nice enough guy to work with.

Well, looks like I have ANOTHER cable I'll probably be looking to get soon.
I recently bought an OBDLink SX for under fifty bucks which uses an STN1100 and was really hoping that would eventually be usable for flashing too. Oh well thats life.
BTW, thanks for uploading the files.

Re: XDFs and hack for 00/01 LS1 PCMs
Hello,
The 0411 flashing tool is mine (antus on delcohacking). It looks like it probably will be for AVTs unless a cheaper manufacturer comes to the party with VPW 4x support. Thus far the others have not come up with the goods.
Hardware is a question, but the main reason it has not yet been released is because its not finished! It does read 0411 to bin successfully on a car and perform other utility functions (tested on local commodores and a 2002 camaro).
0411 Write is in development and wouldn't have been far away, but I can check my logic against whats documented here now, too.
Dimented, if you need to reset your password on DH, that should work fine. The old forum theme did get outdated and password reset was broken for bit but thats been sorted and has been working for a while now. I'd be happy to send you a demo/test copy.

I have been able to beta test this on my 2002 Camaro and works great to read the .bin file. Also I tried it on a few 03-05 truck PCM's and was able to read no problem

Awesome.
EDIT / linkie no workie for the hack. XDF zip is ok, but the hack .7z.zip file is corrupt?
EDIT
.==> Windows will not read the .7z.zip, must open directly with 7zip application.
.
(my avt should arrive next week. =).
.
I just contacted AVT to get a unit shipped my way. I've been busy relocating almost 2000 miles away this year intermixed with various employment, so this was a pleasant thread to stumble on =). I'll have my LSx warez back in hand soon enough (4.8/4l80e for my squarebody 4x4 d60/aam10.5), just need to flash a box and hack some wires.. =)
