vats ! HELP ASAP!!!!!!!

vats ! HELP ASAP!!!!!!!

91 firebird with ebl flash ... the security light on dash is on and I guess it disabled the starter? I tried to disable it with ebl my checking and unchecking flag .. no luck ! I took fuse out .. nothing ... bout to dissconnect battery n c what happens ... I had this car for 6-7 years n this is only second time its done this ... oh and I'm half way to Tennessee right now FML ...

91' bird 305 TBI T-5, trick flow heads, 4.10 gears, full UMI setup, track times coming soon!

The VATS is a seperate module. It controls the start enable relay as well as outputs the correct frequency signal to the ECM. The VATs bit in the EBL only turns the VATS logic. The VATS module works independently of the ECM to disable the starter. For future reference you could disable the VATS in the EBL and carry a screwdriver to jump the starter solenoid at the solenoid to crank the car.
