I don't have a wide band (yet)...

But I was curious about folks who do... what kind of correlation do you guys get between the commanded AFR and what the sensor actually reports?

Is it pretty close? Way off? Way off in the lean direction? Rich direction?

Re: Commanded AFR vs wide band measurements
My PE AFR is commanded to 12.5 for extended time in PE. WB is spot on 12.5 (+ or -.1). If it were off on A/F would suspect not the WB but my VE table at that RPM/MAP. WB's are accurate....

Thanks. Are you 12.5 between idle and 2000 rpm?

My WB is spot on also......12.5 is too rich below 2k rpm.

Re: Commanded AFR vs wide band measurements
Not sure how to answer. EBL-ECU. I idle OL at 14.5-14.9/1. It moves around day to day or stop sign to SS. Off idle I get some TF fuel on a slow acceleration and it goes to about 13.5/1 or so. I accelerate briskly AE pulls it down to 13.0/1. Now I am OL until 12 MPH last I checked. Over 12 MPH(maybe 15 I forget) I am CL at stoich.

If your question is on PE 0-2000. My A/F is gear based(manual) so it starts at 13.0 in 1st and increases to 12.5 in 4th. I am seldom in 4th for PE as speeds(3.07) are excessive on XWay.

I am TBI by the way until next month port fuel finally happens(Edelbrock 4B TB 1000cfm/World SP) .
