windows 10 and tunerpro

have the tpi based swap in the duster, and its not firing the injectors. so I go to load up tunerpro rt and my aldl cable. cant get the laptop to recognize the cable.

what I'm using is an old aldl cable with a box labeled 10k, all from akmcables.com. have a seriel port to usb adapter that plugs into the usb ports on my laptop.

laptop is a brand new dell that I got about a month ago from bestbuy, loaded with windows 10.

fresh dowmload of tunerpro rt, fresh $8 .bin, .adx. and .xdf.

ecm is a 7727 ecm.

on my old laptop, I used the same stuff and had no problems ($a1 being the only difference).

so what do I need to do to get this thing talking to the ECM?

Re: windows 10 and tunerpro

Right click on the tuner pro icon. Go to compatibility and pick win 7.
That might work...

Also, make sure Turnerpro knows the correct com port that your cable is connected to.
