Fuel and Speed

Anyone know what pins are for speed and Fuel on a moates ALDU Cable for 91 Camaro? I have a Howell EFI setup on my caddy and am using Tunerpro for my gauges. Also, where do I find the correct pins for the OBD1 harness?
Appreciate the help.

Re: Fuel and Speed

The ALDL link is a serial communications link. There are no separate pins or such for fuel or speed. It is embedded in the serial data stream.

Dependent upon the EFI system the data link is on pin E or M.

This isn't a specialty of mine by any means but, my Howell EFI OBD1 harness has I believe 3 wires. I added a speed sensor to the TH400, that wire gets inserted behind the Howell harness. Also the fuel signal has to be added. Tuner pro would have to get that signal through the cable so, that's what I'm looking for. Which pins get those two signals?

Re: Fuel and Speed

All sensors and inputs are wired to the ecu. The ecu reads/interprets and uses that direct feed to do its work.

In order for tunerpro to read the data FROM THE ECU ONLY the aldl cable gets a data stream from one single wire from the ecu. It is sent in a series of packets of data that tunerpro can interpret.

An aldl cable (in stock form) does not have any wires of data from sensors. It only picks up the data stream from the ecu.

Sounds like you want to get the speed signal from the ecu connectors.
