I have a (minor) kinda strange problem that I just haven't been able to figure out. The first time (and only the first time) I come to a stop, the idle hangs about 100 to 150 rpm too high for a couple of seconds.
It's in closed loop, fully warmed up. In the capture you can see that once the speed drops to 0, the IAC takes about two seconds to drop the idle down. The SA is dropped to it's lower limit trying to reduce engine speed, but it's not enough with the IAC open so much.
This only happens on the first time I pull to a stop. After that, it idles down normally at a stop. I'm guessing this has something to do with the throttle follower routine, but what I really don't understand it why it only happens at the first stop.
Mine would do that too on occasion... The only way I was able to mostly combat that was to reduce the IAC steps to as close to zero as possible by opening the throttle blades until the IAC barely has to do anything.
