Spark table parameters

Not sure how to word this but here goes. In TC Main Spark Advance vs RPM vs Load table the parameters across the top are LV8 and down the side are RPM. My question is are those numbers max. numbers for that block or min. numbers? Such as the first block is 400 rpm and 32 LV8. Does that mean that block handles everything between 0 rpm and 400 rpm and 0 LV8 and 32 Lv8? That means the next block across would handle 0 rpm to 400 rpm and 33 LV8 to 48 LV8 right or wrong?

Thanks
Tom

All the numbers are mean numbers, and anything other then those are interpulated

In case you didn't quite get what Bruce said - the values displayed on a scan tool should match a at specific cells at a particluar load/rpm, provided no other tables is also invoked (i.e. Highway Mode Spark Adance or PE, which must be added).

When you are "inbetween" a rpm or load value, the ECM will interpolate between the other cell values, and weight between the two boundaries. For example, if you are exactly "in the middle" between an RPM or a Load, then it will be the average of the two specific cells. If you are closer to either cell (but not exactly at it), it will be weighed to the cell it's closer to. It doesn't work like a "step".

If you exceed an "edge" (ie. < 32 or > 208) it will use the value of the boundary.
