Need help with SLP MEM-CAL specs >>

I just bought a brand new MEM-CAL from my local dealership for my car that has the CAL-PAK and the PROM and I need to get it burned to the SLP specs for their 91-91 performance package for a LB9/4L60 combo, problem is, the original SLP records were lost in a fire!!!!!!!! I was told by SLP that fast-chip could burn me one to thier specs but when I called they said they could not so now I am stuck

Does anyone here know or can anyone speculate as to what the specs would have been so I can get one burned??? All I know is that it set the secondary fan to go on at only 200 and it changed the timing and some other stuff. SLP also told me that the programming on these chips are NOT the same as ANY other chip they have ever sold, they had special programing that was more aggressive than others just for this package. I'd appreciate any help, I'm kinda stuck on this

Thanks,

Alex

Speculation is what happened at ENRON. <g>

I'd suggest you just read up on things, and start doing your own. As incredible as it may seem, tuning over the phone/net isn't the same as you tuning your car, in person.

I'm not about to spend all the money it takes to buy the equipment to burn my own, I'm simply trying to find out if anyone here would have a clue what some of the specs were or where to get them so I can take that info to fast-chip and have them burn me one or something like that.

Who knows, maybe some of the people on this board who have this performance kit have extracted the data on their own chip so they know what was changed and can let me in on it......

You could buy the equip. for what Fastchip will probably charge you. Then you could make those changes in a few minutes, or better yet, burn a chip see what the car does, burn another...etc. As for speculation...I can tell you that the first thing I did when I got my burning equip. was to read my custom performance chip. They added a little timing, richened WOT AFR, raised TCC lockup, lowered fans. Now that I've been "burnin and learnin", I know that these slight changes they make might be worse than the stock chip or slightly better. Compared to my current bin, that chip would have been conservative, best guess numbers that I could program and burn in 5 min.
