I'm considering using the MSD Digital 6 ignition system in preparation for nitrous. I've pulled the instructions off of the MSD web but I'm a bit confused. I see no reference to the ECM. Can anyone explain how the MSD module, the distributor and the TPI computer system work together? Does the MSD system interfere with normal computer operations like spark advance? ( I realize that the MSD unit has a spark retard but is it actively involved in the control of the car? Any light you could shed would be very helpful. The part numbers I'm considering are 6520 (ignition control) and the coil #8252
