tried the 15 and still doesn't work

What can I do if the original key got lost? My friend lost the key before selling me the car, he couldn't get it to start. My 88 GTA doesn't do anything but light the security light. I got a hold of the 15 different ohms values for the vats system and tried with resistors this morning, but still have the security light and nothing happens. Can I dissable vats manually? How can I start my car? Can I replace the vats module, where is it? Please help me, I bought this car last week and want to use it, it's very nice!!! I love it but I can't use it. Thanks.

David
