Blinking lights
I'm looking for a place online to buy a blinking light that looks somewhat like this..... A light that would get a constant imput, but would blink. Can anybody here help me? if you could, plart numbers would be great

Is power consumption a concern?
Just go to Radio Shack, and buy any kind of light you like, as long as it runs on 12 volts. And get a toggle switch that looks pretty.
Go to an auto parts store, get a standard, #552 (I think?) turn-signal flasher. It will have two male terminals on the back.
You'll need two female crimp terminals to slide onto the turn signal flasher, as well as whatever else you'll need (ring terminal) to connect a ground, as well as whatever connector the Radio Shack light requires.
Ground one side of the light. Put a wire from the other side of the light, to one leg of the flasher. Put another wire, from the other side of the flasher to one leg of the switch. Put another wire, WITH an inline fuse, to some source of power in the car...it's up to you if this will be constant, ignition, et cetera.
Only three problems with that setup:
1. It would kill the battery eventually, if you leave it on all night with the key off.
2. The speed of the flasher can't be adjusted; take it or leave it.
3. The flasher makes noise, which you may not like. You could extgend the flasher's wires, and mount it somewhere in the rear of the car, or under the carpet.
If you need something with low current draw, get one of those fake car alarms. It will have an LED with a built-in flasher, all made to run on 12 volts, and it won't drain your battery.
