Fan Switch pics?

What does the fan switch look like? My fans don't work and I want to replace the temperature switch thing but can't find it. I've done a searcha and learned that its between #6 and #8 cyl., but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

this happind to me to and im still working on it. fans don't work-that happind just test them you can take the dark green w/ white strip wire and jumper it to a ground. That should turn the fans on.

Where is this? I don't have time to go run out and look for it right now. Does it run to the fan motor? Thanks.

If you're aware of where the Temp gauge sensor is *between 1 & 3), the Fan Switch is in the same spot (except since it's the other side of the motor, it's 6 & 8) as if it were a gauge sensor, just the opposite side. (not too sure that makes sence but, it's late)

One way to test (w/o hunting) if the primary fan (ECM controlled, TPI, dual fans) relay is working is to do a code check (this kicks the main gan on), or turn on your A/C, car running or not for both, the fan should kick on. (guess that was 2 ways huh ?).

The fan switch (TPI) in the pass side head kicks on (grounds really) at a chilly 238° (about 20° after the primary), replacing it wouldn't get you much gain for cooling problems.

Thw subject of cooling fans needs to be a sticky...
