BAD ECM??

How do I tell if I have a faulty ECM????

I'd start by using an Auto Xray, Diacom software, or have a mechanic use another type of scan tool to view the parameters internal to the ECM, over the ALDL serial link. One thing you can do without some type of sdcan tool is view the error codes. Short the upper right two terminals on the ALDL connector together, turn the ign on, & view the codes. Anything other than "12" is not normal.
