The check engine light came on and now it won't idle runs really rich and like crap!!
this happened before and it wa my comp. i replaced the whole thing it is an 88 iroc with a 350 what is going on here is it the whole computer again or just the chip i have a pretty decent amount of mods done is this the problem help me out

 

it has the code 12 and then just about every other big sensor do you think it is just the chip?? please help

 

Start checking voltages at the sensors - if there are that many codes. See if the outputs of the sensors are in the acceptable range, given their input condition.

If you are getting 5 or more codes, it is most likely the computer again. You can try clearing the codes and if it comes back again it mostly is the computer. Did you replace the last one with a rebuilt or a slavage yard model?

 

no it was a brand new one do you think it is the mods killing the thing maybe i should get an aftermarket chip or a burnt one???
