non-fbody? fuel injector related inside.......
Hey guys I hope you can help me out.I'm ready to blow the hell out of this car. It's an 89 pontiac bonneville.
I have one injector not firing.Atleast I think......
I replaced the old injector and still got nothing. How can I test the wiring to see if it has power?I know I have power on the positive lead for the injector. But How do I check to see if it is opening?

The best way to see if the ECM is grounding the negative wire is with an oscilloscope. Or, if the injectors are bank fired (left injectors on one circuit & right injectors on a second circuit), like the setup in third gen F-bodies, you could test for continuity from the negative wire on one connector to a negative wire on another connector on the same side. If the injectors are individually fired, you could check for continuity through the negative wire back to the ECM.
