on my 82 TA i have power windows. the drivers side works fine and the switches BOTH work normal. but the passenger side will not go down after a certain point. it will go all the way up, but after like 5 inches or so down, it stops. when all the way up, if i hold the switch it makes a loud repeated popping sound, and when its as far down as it will go, if i hold the switch down it makes a repeated poppping sound also just not as loud. the drivers side is fine, its just the passengers side. what can i do??

 

you can remove the passenger panel, clean the tracks for the window and relube them. look into the history here and on interiors for window advice on ways to do this if you're not familar with how.
