Need hatch advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, I have the electric hatch, all I did was open my hatch to get something out of it and when I went to close it, it wouldn't lock. I took a closer look and I saw that when it went down it didn't come back up to pull it closed. So I took the panel off and looked at it and I pulled it with my hands and it came up again, so I tested it and it was working, but my hatch release button isn't working?? So I put the panel back on and tested it with the key and it opened, I go to close it and it wouldn't pull it just like before. So it doesn't work and I had to unscrew the hatch support and thats how it is, and my hatch release button, which it always worked, doesn't. I need some ideas here!! What should I do?? Thanks!!

I had this problem a few years ago. You need to chek all the switches in the mechanism. There should be atleast two from what I recall. Each one reverses the direction of the motor. Also check the relay for moisture damage. Incidentally, the relay is identical to the fuel pump relay. Good Luck
