where is the EGR solonoid?
where is the EGR solonoid?
there are no vacuum lines coming off the EGR valve, and i don't see anything that looks like the solonoid. it keeps throwing a code for lean exaust and the car studders and sometimes stalls under hard breaking. HELP!!!

IF it's a 305 TBI it should be right behind of the EGR and slightly raised on a bracket valve. From what i remember the EGR solenoid looks rectangular with a 2 wire connector one one end and a vaccum hose port on the opposite end.

Shouldn't bother putting this but hey what the heck:

The egr solenoid is located right under the wires shown in the picture...it has the two vacuum lines going to it. One vacuum line goes to the egr valve, the other line goes to a connector on the bottom of the throttle body. I hope this helps.
