my interior lights for whatever reason just will not turn off and thus drains my battery to nothing. i tore out all the wires and rewired everything but still my lights will not shut off, is my light switch defective perhapes? if so, how and where can i get another switch like that, its a 91 camaro rs.

any help would be great, this has been bugging me constantly for the past couple weeks and i cannot even drive my car because of my battery getting drained .

 

I had a similar problem with my 89 Formula. The passenger's side light switch is probably to blame, and I went to NAPA and got a new switch. I think it was $5. The switch self adjusts, so you hook it up and close the door slow.
