mallory VS. MSD?

after swaping a ZZ3 engine on my 1987 camaro, I have decided to ditch my stock LG-4 computer.

I have a quetion regarding Mallory. I see and heard MSD all over the place, but I seldon hard about mallory. I am thinking of using mallory for my ignition system.

the parts I am planning to use are

comp 9000 unilite Electric Distributor (P/N 9148201)
Mallory COil (P/N 29440)
The new Mallory VI CD Ignition Box (P/N 685)

and as for my induction i plan to use eldelbrock mechanical Q-jet M4m 1980-86 for chevy trucks?

any comments?

thanks

so if u see and hear MSD all over the place, then why not use it.. i haven't hear (m)any complaints about MSD, its old reliable brand.

Have you checked is there a major ca$h difference between MSD distributor, dis ignition box and blaster II coil, comparing to mallory?

Mallory is good. Six in one hand, half a dozen in the other...
