ac fan not blowing

I had my ac converted to r-134a not worth it but that was a couple years ago. My only problem is my fan doesnt really blow or if it does it only comes on after awhile. I expect on high cold and high fan it would come through the vents near the gauges and passenger side but it seems it comes through the top of the dash like a defrost would and deflects off the windshield. No blown fuses anywhere I can tell. I wish the fan was stronger but at least it isnt as loud or annoying as some new cars that have jet powered fans. Thanks for any help or advice.

The vaccum control for the vents is probably unpluged or damaged somewhere. That will fix that. Check you blower motor for a bad ground, and make sure it's getting all 12V.

Make sure the vaccum is hooked up at the engine. This redirects the flow from vent to defrost etc. I pinched my vaccum line at the rear of my TPI when I resinstalled mine last year and it drove me nuts this winter until I found the pinch. The other problem is the little redirecting valve behind the HVAC controls may be broken. Mine was so I replaced that too with e-bay parts for $10.00. Good Luck!!

vacuum line location

I am not sure if my chiltons or haynes will be good so roughly where does the vacuum line connect to the tpi base or roughly where does the vacuum line come out of the firewall drivers side, passenger side near the brake booster etc. I will check the blower motor and look for any lose vacuum lines I assume it might be near the blower, but if you guys are familiar with where it is that would help a lot. Thanks as always I appreciate the fast reply.
