How do I get around the vss for a rear gear change?

I want to swap gears out in the rear end. I just replaced my vss which means my speedo is now working like brand new but I want steeper gears for the rear. I want to put in 3.23 gears with posi but I have the 2.73 gears. How do I get around the vss with out changing another form a 3.23 car?

You change the speedo gears in your trans to match your rear end. Check the FAQ.

well, you can do it by changing the speedo gears (which yes, does work for e-speedos too), or you can buy a converter box that will automatically adjust the frequency of the VSS signal by whatever % change you need based on gears and tire diameter changes.
The first method is the cheapest, dirtiest, and least accurate. The second will allow you to set your speedo to be perfect no matter what you do your effective gearing from now on. And you don't have to take a bath pulling the tailshaft.

If you want to change your speedo gears, go here: Speedo gears
