wierd headlights

wierd headlights

ok heres the problem: low beams are the 2 out side lights....highs are on the inside. when head light **** is pulled out it lights up the low beams. when i finally get the high beams on(something in coloum wont let me switch in some steering wheel positions)the 2 highs go on and the left low cuts out...flip back to lows and the left one goes on again..... what is up with that? is it bad...good...what? also i need some help with whats going on when i try to turn on the high beams

mods: 14" chrome air cleaner, straight-piped after cat exhaust with one chrome dual tip on the left side.
future mods: headers, removing smog equipment, and as many cheap mods as i can find

Axle/Gears: Moser 9", Detroit Locker, 3.70
The hi/low beam switch is located on the steering column, near the ignition switch. It's position is adjustible - sounds like you need to adjust it closer to the steering wheel. The light green wire powers the 4 high beam filaments. If the inner two lights are functioning with the switch in the "hi" position, then either the outer two head lamps need to be replaced, or the light green wire has an open connection to the outer two bulbs, or if the low beams are dim, when they are on, it may be an open ground connection (black wire) from the bulb connector to the chassis.

Each head light connector has a light green wire going to it.

ok i've found the wires......when i was trying to get the highs to go on(headlight switch is a pita) the left turn signal indicator is now on and stays lit and doesnt click whan you turn the blinker on.....it doesnt flash it's just lit up what did i do?
