i was driving down the street today and all of a sudden my engine and everything just stopped.....my headlights turn on and my interior lights work.....but my engine wont start and my stereo wont come on. thanks for any help you can give me.

 

I had something similar happen when my battery cables were replaced I left one of the main harness wires lose. When driving the car died. If you do not hear the fuel pump start it could be the wire that should be connected to th main starter wire. If it was a fusible link at the starter all power will be lost to lights and other stuff. The wire that comes off the battery controls a few other components so check to make sure it is on /good contact and check to see if power is on past the fusible link. Hope this help
