Gas gauge prob
This morning on my way to work I pulled out of my driveway kind of fast and thought I smelled a faint burning smell, like brakes burning. So I’m driving along and see my gas gauge telling me I’m low. So I stop, put $10 in and turn the key forward. Gas gauge doesn’t move. Turn on the car. Still nothing. Drove 5 miles to work still nothing. So, I dunno what could be wrong, but that ain’t good. Isn’t there a thing like the oil sending unit for the gas gauge? That could be it right? I hope it’s not serious. Anyway, car runs great though, so I dunno any help is appreciated.

Join the club! You have a guage, and a sending unit in the tank. see posts about gas gauges on the next 3 pages, one of them tells you how to see if it is the gage or the sender, it would be redundant to do it over again here!
