Short or something

just a quick queston, the light under my hood broken (ooops), but now my power door locks wont work (they still work with my alarm, but the buttons wont work. and my dome light also wont' work. do you guys think this could be cuased by the underhood light?... are those on the same circute?

not as far as i can tell. the engine compartment light gets power from fusible link "B" at the starter solenoid, then goes through an inline fuse to the lamp. if fusible link "B" was bad you would loose a lot more than you listed, including the blower moter and parts of the ignition circuit, depending on your year.
