Hi again!

I have a question about my fog lights.

The glass on the driver's side fog light got smashed for some odd reason. Can I just replace the glass lens on the light, or do I have to replace the whole light?

You should be able to find one at a salvage yard, or find a cheap set with the same type lenses at pep boys or auto zone and install those lenses, they should work. Then you'd have a spare. If you can't find one, call Roy at third gen resource here in Charlotte. I was there on Wednesday and he had a few sets of used lights. Click his link on this sight, he's great to work with.

 

I just bought a cheap set from autozone for $17, and used the glass lens, mirror reflector, and bulb from to replace the broken parts in my fog lamps.

You do NOT need to remove the entire fog lamp assembly, you can do the work through the fog lamp opening in the bumper. It's a little tight, but do-able.
