Rewiring Starter...need some advice w/in>>>
After replacing my starter solenoid (grinding noise after startup so I replaced that but not the starter iself just yet) I cannot get the car to start. It started fine before I changed the solenoid. It also started once after hooking everything back up but not again. So I've got new connectors and fusible links to rewire the whole she-bang so that when I route all the wires back down there I don't have to do the job again. One problem - I cut off the fusible links and don't remember exactly where they went - I know that one of the smaller red wires joined with the large red wire before going into a link, and that the other two red wires each went through a separate link and then joined. The other wires are obvious - can anyone shed some light on this? Any other advice from electrical gurus to help me ensure that I don't have to redo this once I'm done? Thanks very much in advance...
