Fuel Pump Fuse????
I have an 84 Z that has a mechanical fuel pump. I blew a a fuse in it today for the radio and while I was down there I noticed I had a fuse labeled fuel pump. I was just wondering what the heck is it for it doesnt have an in takn kpump does it, I didnt think it did anyhow. I know some are equipped with both types of pumps but what years and engines were they in and what were they for? thanks in advance.

Any fuel injected model came with an in tank electric pump. Since the fuse block hardly changed throughout the TG reign the same panel was used in all models.

Ok so they used an electric fuel pump fuse in a car even without a pump being there? and I didnt think that they had any fuel injection in 84 or earlier so another question is were they looking towards the future or were the old crossfire injected ones using the same set up as all the others? Forgive my ignorance on this but I was just curious.
