My distributer busted a few months back and ever since then my check engine light flashes rapidly. I never could figure out whats wrong with it until I took it to a garage and they tried to hook it up to a computer and get the trouble code. Well seems the the computer got zapped with all the power from the dist. I was wonder if my Hypertech chip is bad now because of this??

 

sorry I really don't know anything about this but I thought the ECM fuse was suppose to protect against this?
