what do I do??

O.K. I have '88 camaro that was a V6 and I droped a carbed 305 in it(out of an '82) but my problem now is figuring out the wireing???Can anyone out there help me,,The wireing that did go to the distributor has a 4 wire plug and I dont know which one to run to my new dist.,,,, also the V6 had a coil,can I just forget about this or do I need to do anything to that?I have plenty of other things to do to keep me busy on this swap but this little problem has got me stumped,are there any tec. articals that could help me?Is there anyone out there that has done this swap befor that could help me?Anyone?I would apreceate any help you guys could give me.Are there any other problems I'm gona run into?I have searched the tec. articals here but have had no luck.

From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
I'm thinking the heavy pink wire will supply switched power to the coil; and the white wire that came off the coil will provide a signal for a tach.

Thanks pete,anyone else wanta second that,the two wires that did goto the coil are pink and white,what about the 4 wire plug that did goto the distribtor???Is it not needed?
