Tach wiring question........
I know its not a thirdgen, but please dont lock this, i cant find this stupid wire....
Its my stoopid 97 cavalier....
Just curious though. I put a tach in it, cuz it didnt have one (i know, i dont need it, but i had one lying around, lol). I got the power, light, and ground, and the fourth wire is supposed to go to the distributor, or (on a distributorless car, like this one), the negative pole of the ICM. Well, i cant figure out where the neg wire is on the Ignition, its hard to see, cuz i have to be under the car....
So i guess im either looking for help identifying the negative wire on the ICM
OR
Shouldnt there be an empty space somewhere in the wiring harness up front? Because cavaliers DO come with tachs.... Can i do that? Anyone know where it is?
