dual mass air flow sensor?

how could a person make two mass air flow sensors work on the TPI system?

I dont think you can 2 MAF's because there is no harness connection for a 2nd MAF and the ECM will not recognize 2 MAF signals coming in. I saw a GTA with dual cold air inlets coming in to his TPI throttle body, but only 1 had the MAF attatched.

Poor college student(donations welcome ;0) with an all stock 1988 5.7L IROC-Z Hardtop, Auto. trans, white ext. w/gold accents (soon to be silver), black custom cloth interior, 4-wheel discs and G92 pkg. Car is dead stock. Has only standard Z28 power options and all the IROC performance stuff you could get. No pwr. seats, mirrors, or rear defrost.

Best run: 1/4 14.90 @ 92.7 MPH

Two MAFs could be paralleled on a TPI system if an interface circuit was designed to sum the two MAF inputs, and then scale the resulting sum to a 0 to 5 volt range as an output. The PROM would also have to be recalibrated so that the 0 - 5 volt MAF input would correspond to 0 - 511 grams / second, instead of 0 - 255 grams / second.
