doom light blows fuses

My 83 z28 has T tops. It appears that they leak. I say this because if the interior lights are on the fuse that protects them blows. I have replaced the fuse and the lights seem to work until it rains. Has any one else had this problem and could it be the doom light socket shorting?

Man, I wish I had a "doom" light... How cool would that be... :P

Sorry, I saw the "doom" thing and had to reply...

You're correct, it sounds like your dome light is being shorted out up there... fix the leak and dry everything out, check the wires and see if it does it anymore...

My 2 cents...
