no emissions law's
there is no emissions law where i live and i want to run my IROC cooler. What are the tricks for doing this. Cooler trmostat Cooler fan switch ect...

You got it, run a cooler stat and a fan switch. But do not go under 170 or so, lingenfelter says this plays fits with the ECU

You can do this, but since you have fuel injection, you need to change, the PROM chip, or the engine will always think it's always in warm-up/enrichment mode. So it will have crappy fuel econonomy and performance. On the other hand, my friend has a 350 Chevy truck with very high miles and the new thermostat w/ no PROM change makes it run more smoothly since it is always running rich, but certainly not making the power it could.
