i have an 87 z28 and i took the tpi harness out to swap in an accel dfi harness. my problem is.....i started this project about 3 years ago and have not looked at the car in about a year.on the drivers side of the car up against the firewall there is a pink wire (10-12 gauge i would say) it is solid pink and i have no clue where it goes ( i cut it right near fire wall)
i think it is the power going to the coil but not sure. this one is stumping me and i need to find out so i can finish up all of my wiring mess. also anyone that could tell me if that is a constant power wire (even during cranking) it would be a huge help.

 

that pink wire is the the one to the coil and it comes on with the egnition it does not stay hot
