HELP!! please
OK, when my car is cold(sitting for over 2 hours and completely cold) it starts right up with no problem. But, when i drive any trip over 15 minutes or so and the car get good and warm, It will not start. I figured, no big deal, my headers are close to my starter and it probably gets hot and wont start. I bought a new starter and th same problem occurs. If i let it cool back down, it is fine. Can someone tell me what s wrong with this? Or has anyone had any similar problems? I thought maybe it was the ignition switch or a relay or something.

My friend had a similar problem with his car and we just fixed it by getting a starter with heat sheilding. When he drove his car around for 30 min and shut it off,it wouldnt start until the starter cooled off.He hasn't had problems since we changed the starter.
hope this helps
