I've been trying to trace a drain on my battery. By way of checking the alt., I connected a circuit tester, between each of the 2 wires in the connector, and the large red wire produced a definate draw. I left the connector off the alt. and did a normal draw test between the battery negative terminal and ground. No Draw. Connect the clip, and the draw is back. I know I'm being a little wordy, but i want make sure i get all the details the 1st time.
