glass headlight/stroblight

i bought those strobe lights from autozone, sombody told me that i can't put them in the headlights becouse they are made of glass and would have to replace the whole glass assembly if i did.
is this true?

Factory headlights are sealed. If you are ballsy and careful I guess you could drill a hole for them. I upgraded mine with the Hella H4 conversion houseings and added those little 8 watt bulbs too (city lights). These houseings would be easier to add strobes into. I would put them in your parking lamps. The strobes for my alarm and going to go in my third brake light. THere is plenty of room in there.

Also, in some states, strobes are illegal in headlights for all but emergency vehicles and volunteer fire ppl.. Parking lights are acceptable if they're acceptable on the street at all in the first place.

But no, you can't install them on the sealed beam bulbs because they are indeed entirely made of glass.

I second the parking light suggestion.
