MSD 6AL, Making me slower
I've recently installed a 6AL box. I haven't got the new coil yet (Tuesday maybe) so I'm still running the stock one. Anyways my question is I seem to be running slower than what I was before. Before MSD I was 5.75 0-60 and 14.4 101 mph in the 1/4 on the g-tech. Now I have 6.6 and anywhere from 15-16 sec 1/4 at 84-96 mph. I know everyone says g-techs aren't accurate but I just use to compare MODS. Just was wondering whats up with it. I can tell a difference in throttle reponse and rpm range. OH and I do have 150 miles worth or so of hard/regular driving on this new restart computer.
Never mind I found out whats wrong. I'm running Bosch Plat. Plugs and I was told by tech support msd boxes don't like solid plugs. I was told either to run AC delco or Accel with 1 temp colder than stock. Anyone have opinions on which is better for a daily driver that gets about 200 miles per week put on it?
