ripped-off!!!
Because I could'nt get one of my sparkplugs loose, I took my car to firestone. Well they changed the sparkplugs and the oil and said they did a "maintenance tune-up". I got about a mile down the road and the car starts stalling again. I called them and they said it was my fault because I didn't want any other work done. Fair enough, but I did pay $72.00 including $48 for a tune-up.
Is it possible to do a tune up and have the car continue missing and stalling? I am so angry what can I do? they want $267.62 to replace the distributor, rotor, and wires. I can do that myself.

Wrong board but anyway.
You paid 48$ for oil&lube and for them to fill your washer fluid up. Thats what they consider minor maintenance. As far as fair is conserned they did do what they got paid for. If you can do the work yourself, do it! It will save you labor & markup on the parts. But if you feel confused about the distributor swap buy the parts and then take it to another shop and have them swap it out you will probably save 20/30$ buy getting your own parts.
Good luck!
