Temperature Gauge from hell
When I start my car up my temp gauge goes all the way past 260 (which is normal) but sometimes it doesn't come back down and I have to open up the dash 2 or more times a week to move it back down. Anyone else having this problem? Do I need to replace the gauge?

I can't remember which board, but someone said they stuffed a small piece of foam or something between the black metal bezel cover & the gauge to keep the gauge from fully sweeping up to the point of sticking at start. If I get off my lazy butt I might do this to mine as well,, it's just plain stuck.

That may have been me, deadbird... I don't really remember. Seems like a lot of people have been having that problem.
But yes, just put a little piece of foam rubber up there where the needle sticks. When you turn on your car it should just bounce off the foam and return to its normal position.
