Courtesy Lights, do you have them?

In my 88 Camaro I recently was under the dash on the passengers side. I found a bulb socket empty without a bulb so I put one in and wow I didn't know I was missing passenger side floor illumination. Well so I head over the the drivers side to see if there is a bulb socket on that side, because there is no light on that side. I looked and looked but could not find one. Now I am guessing there should be light on both sides, am I correct in assuming this? If I am, where might that little socket be on the drivers side? Thanks.

My car doesnt have them on either side. It sucks looking for stuff in the dark. Just have to find time to take it out of another car. The holes for it are there tho. No wiring, nothing.

Odd. Both of mine has lights on both sides, in addition to the dome light, and RVM lights.

Well after some searching I found the other socket in the weirdest place. It was behind the gauge cluster and pinned behind bundles of wires. The guy who had the car before me had the speedo taken out and recalibrated so maybe that is how it got pinned there. As for where the bulb and socket go who knows, I just put it somewhere where it could not melt anything like plastic trim yet light up the floor. If any of you who do not have the lights look for white and orange wires. My socket has those colors running into it.
