Digital Dash Question

Does anyone know if the wiring harness for the base gauge cluster is the same as the optional Digital Dash cluster?

I have an 87 GTA that did NOT come with the digital dash and I have a friend that has the digital dash with no wiring. Wondering if it's a bolt in switch or a complete wiring change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

It is not a bolt in change, you have to change all the wiring in the car (except for the engine wiring) because of the driver info center in the digital dash. I am attempting the swap myself but I am having trouble finding the wire harness. The best deal I found so far is $1000 for the complete wiring harness, dash and light monitoring module. I personally don't think it is worth $1000.
