weather-pac connectors

what is the best way to remove the wires on the stock weather-pac connectors(specifically the 4 point male IAC) I broke the "lock" on the original and need to replace it, keeps vibrating lose. I know there is special tool for this but thought somebody may have a quick trick. BTW Year-One has alot of replacement connectors. Thanks for any help

Pep Boys sells new pig tail connetors that you may find easier to justg solder to the harness.
