gauges shorting out
my car was in an accident in june 01 a few months later my tranny blew and right after the tranny was replaced my gauges shorted out and my alarm arms even when doors are open or car is on i had my tranny guy look and see if he cut any wires but that turned out negative i am wondering if a ground wire gott screwed over in the accident any info is mutch appreciated

Sounds like a faulty ground is a definite probablility to me. I wish I could tell you in detail to look. I would just start with all the obvious ones and then onto the circuits that you're having problems with.
